| When people first come into this industry, they are confused, overwhelmed and besides having to overcome learning about a forum and it's features, they also are learning an entirely new concept to them. Many people have seen ads where you can complete a ton of offers to get free gift certificates, iphones, computers, etc. Those generally are scams, and this is entirely different and should not be confused with that concept used there. Let's take a look at the definition and begin with first what the networks are. Networks: Incentivized Freebie Websites (IFWs) are a network of websites that have advertised offers. Many of the offers available are from well known advertisers such as Blockbuster, Netflix or the like. When you complete the offer (usually a free trial for a set number of days, some that charge a shipping and handling fee, etc. but most all are a reduced price of what you would normally pay) the network gets paid from an affiliate that is running the advertiser's offer. If you follow the terms, the network is paid and this is how they can afford to pay the person who referred you to the site. This is an excellent means of advertising for the affiliate offers. Normally, the advertised offers would pay a great deal of money to get their product seen. But in incentivized marketing, they don't pay for advertising or any fees to anyone unless the lead actually tries their product.   A network has many subsites. For example: Innovus Net has 10 subsites, and subsites are designated by putting the name of the subsite first in the url, much like this: http://gaming.innovusnet.com Interested individuals can join each subsite once, but they are able to join every subsite in the network. Once a member joins, they have two requirements before they can either get PayPal or a specific prize they are interested in from the IFW (completing offers in trades only the first requirement is met): 1) Offer Requirements and 2) Referral Requirements Offer Requirements: Most sites are 1 credit sites. The member must do enough offers to reach 1 full credit. Members sign up through a referral link, which looks like the above url, but there's one more thing added to it: http://gaming.innovusnet.com?refBy=6745 This particular gaming site can usually be completed in 2-4 offers; although there are full credit offers, they are often more expensive to complete on a higher valued site such as this one which is valued at $75 per referral for PayPal. The number at the end represents the person who has sent you to the site. It insures they get credit when you go "green." Going "green" simply means that you have met the "Offer Requirements." There are steps, which you will need to be sure to read the Tutorial section of the forum to insure you gain credit, but for now, the definition includes, giving all accurate information when registering, normally having your phone number verified by either an electronic 3rd party or manually, and of course, completing the offers and the credit for them showing up on your screen and the person who referred you to the site's screen. Referral Requirements: This simply means to acquire the needed referrals for a particular prize/gift that you've chosen. $75 PayPal on Gaming is 1 Referral, a Sony PSP is 2 Referrals, Nintendo Wii is 3 Referrals, etc. There are other prizes/gifts available. Freebie Trading: When someone sends you to a network with their Referral ID on it and you've met the Offer Requirements, they will pay you a percentage of what the site value is; usually between 50-65% of the value. An example of what someone may be offering for the gaming site is $45. The trade is setup through a Trade Manager on a Trading Forum such as 1st Degree Freebies. You know in advance the terms of the trade and that you will get paid. The trades are monitored by staff on the forums to insure that everyone is doing what they have promised. Once both sides have completed their parts of the trade; one "greening" and the other making the PayPal payment, then both sides mark their trades complete and rate the trade as either a positive, neutral or negative experience. They also leave a short comment on the trade, such as "Great trade partner, quick green" or "Great transaction, was paid promptly, will trade again." The staff view the comments and rating, approve them, then each party is issued a Trade Rating of 1 TR (TR stands for Trade Rating.) The more TR a person has, the more experienced they are to lend you a hand and the more they can be trusted. It's always been a general rule of thumb that once a person reaches 20 TR, they can be trusted and are experienced enough to teach someone else the ropes. In a nutshell, this is the definition of Freebie Trading. If you are not already involved, you can learn more about it through a tutorial site such as Easy Successful Steps (http://easysuccessfulsteps.com.) If you learn quickly and can easily follow instructions, then you can skip the tutorial site and go straight to 1st Degree Freebies and register and find someone to get you started! |
